are finally on the car! This year it was rather complicated, as human had lost the adapter for the safety lock screws on the rims. ? VERY annoying. I thought I could maybe open them with other tools we have but it didn’t work.
So we drove to the VW Dealer around the corner – where we had bought the car. They said that they could check it, but probably wouldn’t have the right adapter and it would end up in breaking up the screws – which would also damage the rims. ? That was 2 weeks ago and the earliest appointment would be in mid December. We hopped away without an appoinment.
Plan B, the other VW dealer not too far away. There they said they probably have the right adapter but the super master of their technicians would need to try each and every single of the adapters which may cost a fortune – and hours of waiting time.
We left – again – without any appointment.
To make a long story short, I searched the internet while human was sleeping and found the correct adapter, ordered it and guess what?!?! It was really the adapter we needed. It’s such a good feeling to have the winter tires on the car. It usually snows early where we live and I prayed for no snow. But now …. LET IT SNOW ……..let it snow ……..let it snoooooooowwwwwww ?
